The 2025 Ford Ranger is a midsize truck that blends practicality, strength, comfort, and technology. Whether your journey takes you to work, a relaxing trip, or a thrilling off-road adventure, there’s a Ranger trim that’s made to handle it. Let’s discuss the features of each to see which one is right for you.

XL

With a powerful 2.3L EcoBoost engine,10-speed automatic transmission, and 4X2 drivetrain (4X4 is also available), the base model has the strength and durability to become your dependable workhorse. Its power locking tailgate, remote tailgate lock, and remote keyless entry add convenience.

Comfortable, Connected Interior

Inside, it’s equipped with the technology and comfort you need when you’re working or running errands. It has a SYNC 4A infotainment system with a 10-inch center stack display, 6-speaker AM/FM stereo radio, and smartphone compatibility. It also has 911 Assist, AppLink, and FordPass Connect with 4G LTE Wi-Fi Hotspot. An 8-inch digital instrument cluster keeps your speed, fluid levels, fuel economy, and other vehicle information right in front of the driver.

The XL has a spacious interior and can seat up to 5 people over 2 rows. It comes with cloth seats. There is storage space in the overhead console, center console, and under the rear seats. If you need additional interior cargo space, the rear seats fold flat. It has several safety features, such as an analog rearview camera, pre-collision assist with automatic braking, and automatic high beams.

XLT

The XLT builds upon the XL by adding in additional comfort and technology features, such as satellite radio, a wireless charging pad, connected navigation with a one-year trial, and LED bed lighting. This trim adds Ford Co-Pilot360 features including blind spot information system, lane-keeping assist, and a digital rearview camera.

LARIAT

If your adventures are of the more luxurious variety, the LARIAT is the trim for you. It adds in several comfort features, such as a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel and front seats that are leather-trimmed, heated, and power-adjustable. It has dual-zone automatic temperature control to further enhance your comfort. The 10-speaker B&O sound system and ambient lighting set a relaxing mood.

The infotainment system features a 12-inch display in the center stack, making your apps, navigation, music, and calls even more accessible. The instrument cluster is also 12-inches, so the driver can easily see it. It also comes with a universal garage door opener, rain-sensing wipers, and zone lighting.

Raptor

With its turbocharged 3.0L EcoBoost engine and 4X4 drivetrain, the Raptor trim is made for your toughest jobs and your most extreme off-road adventures. Further supporting its off-road readiness are the Watts-Link rear suspension, FOX live valve shocks, and heavy duty exposed steel bash plate. It also comes with MyMode drive modes, allowing you to easily change key driving settings to suit your environment.

The Raptor is well-equipped for towing, too, with its front and rear tow hooks, trailer tow package, and advanced towing package. It has a more aggressive appearance too, thanks to its dual-rear exhaust, unique black grille, and side-step.
